Cathode ray tube apparatus with deflection yoke for television set

The CRT apparatus includes a deflection yoke (120) with a coil divider (121) whose neck (122) is placed around the electron gun (112) of the cathode ray tube, and with horizontal and vertical deflection coils (123,125) arranged on the inner or outer surface of the coil divider. A first locking device is arranged in the outer surface of the neck of the coil divider. A clamp device (130) is placed around the neck and has a second locking device which is shaped like a closed band which surround the outer surface of the neck and cooperates with the first locking device to lock the deflection yoke to the electron gun of the CRT. Independent claims are included for a deflection yoke and a convergence yoke.
