PURPOSE:To improve the starting performance by allowing an arcuate groove for introducing the vane pushing-out hydraulic pressure to communicate through an annular groove on a rotor and cutting off the annular groove on start. CONSTITUTION:When a vane 20 is pushed in, the oil on the bottom part side of a slit 19 into which the vane 20 is inserted flows into arcuate grooves 4b and 24b. In a throttle passage 24c which communicates to the grooves 4b and 24b is formed only on a pressure plate 24, and since almost all the parts of an annular groove 18a for the connection of the arcuate groove 4b on a rear body 4 side is cut off and throttled, each pressure in the circular grooves 4b and 24b increases and pushes out the vane 20 in the contiguous slit 19, and the vane 20 contacts a cam ring 22. Accordingly, the starting performance of the vane pump is improved. |
