The telephone operates in a network which contains at least one fixed mobile switching centre, and a number of fixed base stations. Each base station supplies one network cell. A number of mobile telephone apparatus, e.g. mobile telephones and car telephones, have each an identification number. A part of the mobile telephone apparatus has a special identification number. Setting-up and maintaining a radio telephone connection via the mobile switching centre is only possible when the calling process is performed with a mobile telephones supplied with the number.
