Electrical plug-connector

The connector (10) has two connector parts (12,14) which can be coupled together by a slider (16) which can be inserted into one of the parts, especially transverse to the plugging direction and moved. The slider can be moved into a pre-assembly position defined by a latch arrangement (20,22) and in which it is prevented from moving into its end position and secured against falling out of the connector part. It is only released to move into its end position when the two connector parts are plugged together into an end position, in which it interacts with a coupling element in the other part.
