<p>A biaxially oriented thin-wall bottle produced by stretch blow molding has a handle produced by injection molding together with a neck portion of a preform and provided to the side of the neck portion. The handle consists of one integral piece of a grip portion and arm portions provided on both sides of the grip portion and is generally C shaped. The arm portions are integrated with the base portion consisting of a hang-over piece symmetrically formed on both sides of the neck portion and hang over longer than the height of the neck portion. The boundaries between the base portion and arm portions are made thin by constricting so as to serve as a vertically bendable connection portion. The base portion is supported at a part extending from the lower surface to the side surface by a bracket integral with the base portion.</p> |
