The system includes a web-server (5), which can be coupled to the Internet (2) and which can be called via a call number/IP address. A web-page-server (10) provides web pages corresponding to the version of the telecommunication system (1) for the administration of the telecommunication system. Preferably, the web-server runs on the telecommunication system separately from the web-page-server in the Internet. The necessary html-pages and the corresponding applets are provided using the web-page-server. The web-server is integrated in the system software of the telecommunication system and can be accessed via an analogue or digital channel of the telecommunication system.
