PURPOSE:To make an exclusive pulse generating means unnecessary by generating the first, and second pulse signals at every revolution of a rotor, and by calculating and outputting the third pulse signal at every revolution of the rotor on the basis of them. CONSTITUTION:A pulse signal (a) by a Hall element 13a and a pulse signal (b) by a frequency generating coil 15 are inputted into a calculating circuit 19. Here, time for one revolution of a rotor 11 is divided equally into four sections of T1-T4. And as for the number of rises S1-S9 of the frequency generating coil 15 generated in each section, the numbers in three sections of T1, T2, and T4 are two pulses of S1 and S2, S3 and S4, and S8 and S9 respectively, but the number in section T3 is three pulses of S5, S6, and S7. Accordingly, a pulse signal P per revolution of the rotor 11 can be obtained, by outputting a carry signal with a ternary counter which is reset at each rising time of T1-T4 and carries when three pulses have been counted. |
