PURPOSE:To permit wireless detection of the heating temp. of an object to be heated safely and surely with a sensor mounted to the body of a microwave oven by detecting the signal corresponding to the temp. generated by a heat-sensitive probe which receives high-frequency electromagnetic waves. CONSTITUTION:When a heat-sensitive probe 10 mounted to an object A to be heated receives high-frequency electromagnetic waves through a waveguide 9, the probe 10 generates the infrared ray region signal corresponding to heating temp. This signal is detected with the sensor 11 installed in the required position of the body 3 of the heating chamber of a microwave oven 1. In case the probe 10 is not mounted to the object A, no detected outputs are generated from the sensor 11, and the rediation of high-frequency electromagnetic waves is inhibited by a holding circuit 17 and a control circuit 18, thus, the temp. of the object to be heated is detected safely and surely by a wireless system. |
