PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of jamming during feeding even when the limited durability of a device causes a reduction in surface friction resistance between a feed rotor and a separation rotor. SOLUTION: A sheet feeder for separating and feeding sheets one by one is provided with a feed rotor 3 for feeding sheets, a separation rotor 4 rotated forward/backward to separate the sheets one by one, and cleaning means 17 and 18 for removing depositions on the surfaces of the feed rotor 3 and the separation rotor 4. The cleaning means 17 and 18 are constituted to apply higher deposition removing capability to the feed rotor 3 than to the separation rotor 4. |
