PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a light corrosion resistant member excellent in corrosion resistance, mechanical strength and abrasion resistance, and having a low friction coefficient by specifying a carbon amount of a C/C composite composing a basic material, an Si amount of an Si-SiC layer formed at the neighbor of the surface of the basic material, an SiC amount and a porosity. SOLUTION: This corrosion resistant member is constituted of a basic material 1 comprising a C/C composite, an Si-SiC layer 2 formed at the neighbor of the most surface of the basic material 1, and a layer 3 having penetrated the Si-SiC material from the most surface of the base material to a prescribed depth of the basic material 1, and having the Si concentration gradually decreased to the interior. The carbon amount constituting the C/C composite is 55-75 wt.%, the Si amount of the Si-SiC layers 2, 3 is 1-10 wt.%. Further, the SiC amount is 10-50 wt.%, and the porosity is 0.5-10%. A part of the carbon of the C/C composite can be replaced by one or more kinds of baron nitride, boron, copper, bismuth, titanium, chromium, tungsten and molybdenum. |
