PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fatigue destruction or wear of arms and decrease of freez ing performance caused by increase in the weight of movable element in a vibration type compressor used for refrigerant cycle by reducing the stress generated in the vicinity of fixed part of elastic member, and by avoiding genera tion of contact between the adjacent arms without adding a member for keeping a gap between stacked flat plates. SOLUTION: An arm 21a is fixed at a slit end 25a on the outer periphery side of a slit 20a, at an angleαranging from 10 deg. to 50 deg.. The arm 21a and the slit 20a are alterately provided on each other to form an elastic body. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent fatigue destruction or wear of the arm 21a, and also possible to prevent the deterioration of freezing capacity resulting from the increased weight in movable element.
