Device for gluing an edge (1) of a woven carpet (2-3). The said device has a gluing unit (8) for the application of adhesive for gluing the edge (1), transport and pressure mechanisms (10) for pressing the said edge against the back of the carpet (2-3) after the application of the glue and for positioning the carpet in such a way that the said edge travels along the glue unit (8), moveable gripping mechanisms (6) for gripping and re-positioning of the edge to be folded in synchronisation with the said transport and pushing mechanisms, and between these gripping devices (6) and the transportation and pressure mechanisms (10) there is a folding device (7) to fold the edge to be glued (1) when it is transported across it.<IMAGE> |
