PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a pipeline without deforming it even in the case of embedding it underground by connecting sewage pipelines with a joint made of the compound vinyl chloride resin composition having a specified bending modulus of elasticity. SOLUTION: A compound vinyl chloride composition to be used is limited to a composition having modulus of elasticity at 80-200 kg f/mm<2> . In the case of the modulus of elasticity less than 80 kg f/mm<2> , sufficient strength can not be obtained, and a sewage pipe to be connected to a joint can not be surely held. In the case of the modulus of elasticity more than 200 kg f/mm<2> , the composition can not withstand the high speed impact due to the earthquake, and broken. This compound vinyl chloride resin composition is composed of the vinyl chloride resin and elastomer. As a vinyl chloride resin, any vinyl chloride resin can be used, and the copolymer of the homopolymer of vinyl chloride and a monomer capable of being copolymerized with vinyl chloride is used. As an elastomer, a high molecular material having softness at ordinary temperature is used. |
