PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid spoiling of the appearance of a product even when vent of gas is insufficient. SOLUTION: In a method for injection molding in-mold decorating wherein after an in-mold decorating sheet S is fed between a pair of molds A and B under mold opening condition, the molds are closed and a resin P is injected in the cavity 1 to perform the in-mold decorating on the surface of a molded article, a gas vent part 2 is provided at a separated position in such a way that the final filling position of the resin when the resin poured from a gate G is filled in the cavity 1 to become a molded article is at a position separated from the in-mold decorating sheet. Even if storage 3 of gas is generated, as it is separated from the in-mold decorating sheet, inferiority of in-mold decorating can be prevented from occurring. Preliminary molding of the in-mold decorating sheet by vacuum molding using a mold for injection molding can be performed before mold clamping. |
