PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a malfunction-free quick charger and a mobile phone which has a good balance of charging and discharging in standby charging. SOLUTION: When a mobile phone body 5 which mounts a battery 3 is put on a quick charger 1, the quick charger starts quick charging and outputs a signal (e.g. 'H') which indicates that the mobile phone body 5 has been quickly-charged on a terminal 2. The signal is transmitted to a terminal 8 of the side of the mobile phone body via battery terminals 4, 6. The mobile phone body 5 receives the signal, and intermittently stops receiving operation to become a continuously receiving condition. When the rapid charging has been completed and trickle charging is started, the quick charger 1 outputs a signal (e.g., 'L') which indicates that the quick charging has been stopped on a terminal 2, and the mobile phone body 5 receives the signal to change from a continuously receiving condition to an intermittently receiving condition. |
