PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent difference of image density due to replacement of recording section or individual difference thereof by reading out an image formed at an image forming section, inputting the data thus read out, comparing it with a set reference level depending on the type of recording material and generating processing conditions. SOLUTION: A print pattern is read out by a print reader 3 and stored in the read-out image memory area 21 of an external computer 2. A read-out image processing means 22 generates scan data of each raster. A reference value storing area 26 stores reference values of a plurality of gradations of image data constituting a print pattern for each type and color of ink. A comparing means 23 reads out the reference value of a reactive ink, K ink at that image data, compares the scan data of each raster with the reference value and calculates the correction value thereof. Subsequently, a density correction table generating means 24 generates a density correction table of each raster which is stored in a density correction table storing area 25. |
