PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile equipment for making an operator on a reception side able to accurately and easily confirm a transmitter by utilizing a caller telephone number from a public telephone line network. SOLUTION: When the caller telephone number is notified from the public line network 1 at the time of call from the public line network 1, a caller telephone number detection part 3 detects the caller telephone number and stores it in a telephone number storage part 4. A format conversion part 5 develops the code of the caller telephone number into image information as image data. Then, the image information is outputted to a printing control part 8. The printing control part 8 prints the image information of the caller telephone number on recording paper. When an image reception part 6 receives the image data, an image format conversion part 7 develops the image data into the image information as the image data and outputs them to the printing control part 8.
