PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously transmit signals to a plurality of reception equipment through signal transmission equipment using light. SOLUTION: An illuminator 1a of an inverter lighting system is connected to signal transmission equipment 1. Concerning the signal transmission equipment 1, data sent from a personal computer or the like are accepted as transmission signals by a signal accepting means 1b. A modulated signal generating means 1c converts this transmission signal to a modulated signal for inverter. According to the modulated signal, an illuminating instrument 1a is turned on by a drive circuit 1a. The light emitted from the illuminating instrument 1a has the reference frequency of inverter lighting and an amplitude corresponding to the data. Such light having these features is received by a photodetector 2a of signal reception equipment 2 and converted to an electric signal. This converted transmission signal is demodulated by a demodulating means 2b and sent to equipment on the side of reception as a demodulated signal. |
