PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording material for water-based ink which hardly blots even when the quantity of sticking of ink per unit area becomes large, which is excellent in properties of absorbing the water-based ink and in properties of fixing the ink, water resistance and transparency and, moreover, which has an ink receiving layer wherein a color of the ink does not change with time. SOLUTION: A recording material for water-based ink having a constitution wherein an ink receiving layer is provided on a substrate. The ink receiving layer is prepared by blending polyvinyl acetal resin with perfluoroalkylbetaine and fine powder constituted of at least one kind selected from a group comprising a silicic acid, silica, kaolin, clay, alumina, calcium carbonate, zeolite, a titanium oxide, talc and a spherical macromolecule. |
