A method of operating printing heads, particularly of the ink-jet type. The method includes the steps of providing a series of more than one printing head, mounting of the heads on a common carriage in a side-by-side, partly sidewise overlapping relative position. The method also includes activating the heads for printing on a substrate in a programmed periodical sequence. |
