PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display current position information including visual information in association with the position determined by a navigating function and to easily connect various information apparatuses further needed therefor. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle information processing equipment comprises on-vehicle information apparatus 10, 20 installed in an automobile and has a navigation system 40 for acquiring the position of the automobile and providing guidance for areas around the position on the screen of a display part 11. The equipment further includes an image pickup means 50 for picking up images of the scenery from the driver's seat and a storage means 30 whereby the images picked up by the image pickup means 50 are stored in association with the current position of the automobile. When the guidance for the areas around the current position is provided by the navigation system 40, an image retrieved from the storage means 30 is displayed on at least a portion of the guide screen. |
