PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain improvement in convenience in the case of originating a call when utilizing a caller telephone number notice service by executing processing for invalidating the caller telephone number notice service for a telephone number with call originating processing when that telephone number is stored and invalidation information for that telephone number is stored. SOLUTION: When a user inputs a caller telephone number notice service flag in the case of registering an abbreviated dial, a control circuit 8 of portable telephony equipment 1 stores that inputted caller telephone number notice service flag in a memory 14 and when the user originates a call while utilizing the abbreviated dial, the control circuit 8 identifies the set caller telephone number notice service flag concerning the telephone number of a party registered as that abbreviated dial and executes processing for making the caller telephone number notice service valid or invalid corresponding to the identified result.
