摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable continuously detecting generation of an earthquake at the time of calibration of a sensor, by a method wherein, after residual channels except a specified channel in an earthquake measuring system of multichannels are calibrated, calibration of the channel which is not yet calibrated is performed. SOLUTION: According to stored program, a CPU 40 excepts a specified channel, e.g. an N channel, and calibrates sensors 1-3 about the residual A-C channels. In a time band after the calibration, the CPU 40 operate an oscillator 5, turns on a changeover switch 2n on at the same time, and calibrates only the sensor (n) of the N channel. When an earthquake is generated during calibration of the A-C channels except the N channel, the earthquake can be detected with the N channel. When an earthquake signal is transmitted to the CPU 40 through amplifiers 61-6n, an A/D converter 70 and a data line 80, the calibration of a channel during calibration is interrupted, and all channels are transferred to a recording mode of earthquake wave.</p>
