AIR CLEANER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner which can secure a washing capacity corresponding to the pollution of a circulating washing solution or a lower level of ambient temperature. SOLUTION: A filter 2 is erected in a ventilation path A within a hood body 11 while a gutter member 3 for supplying a washing solution is provided at an upper part of the filter 2 and a washing solution accumulation tank 4 for receiving and accumulating the washing solution flowing down at a lower part thereof 2 and a circulation pump 5 is arranged to circulate the washing solution toward the gutter member 3 through a circulation part 6 from the washing solution accumulation tank 4. During or after the cleaning operation wherein air to be cleaned is sucked and ventilated by a suction fan 12 through a ventilation path A, to clean the washing solution is supplied to the filter 2. A frequency counting means is provided to count the frequency of the cleaning operation while a liquid exchange display part 9C and a liquid exchange annunciation part 9D are provided to enunciate the exchange period of the washing solution based on counts output value of the frequency counting means.
