PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically generate a proper interpretation rule which can flexibly function for the change of a sensor system or an applied environment. SOLUTION: In an off-line processing process, map information obtained by an LAP editing device 203 and a sensor spec inputting device 206 and information intrinsic to a sensor system 207 are inputted to a land mark information generating device 204, and the data of the sensor system 207 corresponding to each LAP position are generated by simulation. On the other hand, in an on-line processing process, a land mark pattern is generated from the sensor system 207 by a land mark extracting device 208, and a land mark information 205 is generated from the land mark pattern obtained by executing this simulation and an applied operation to the land mark extracting device 208 plural times and statistical data indicating the generation probability of each pattern. |
