PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety by the realization of incombustibility of an electrolyte by providing an nonaqueous electrolyte having electric conductivity not less than a specific value and has no flash point in a specific JIS test. SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte has electric conductivity not less than 0.05 ms/cm, and has no flash point in the JIS-K 2265 test. This contains lithium salt to be provided together with a positive electrode and a negative electrode capable of storing/releasing lithium and a separator to be better by containing an incombustible nonionic conductive solvent and a lithium ion conductive solvent not less than 20 volume %. A mixture having the dipole moment not more than 3 debyes or less than 3 debyes and not less than 3 debyes is desirable as the lithium ion conductive solvent. The incombustible solvent solubilizes and disperses an ion conductive solution by dissolving and dissociating lithium salt unable to be dissolved by this. Fluorinated ether such as perfluorobutyl methyl ether is suitable for the incombustible solvent, and dimethyl carbonate and ethylene carbonate are suitable for a low and high dipole moment solvent. |
