PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain heat developable color photosensitive material by which an excellent image having no image defect is formed. SOLUTION: In an image forming system for forming an image by providing the heat developable color photosensitive material and image receiving material on separate supporting bodies, superposing both materials and transferring a diffusible pigment formed or discharged by heat development to the image receiving material; the heat developable color photosensitive material has at least three or more layers incorporating photosensitive silver halide and pigment imparting compound, and the supporting body of the heat developable color photosensitive material is constituted of a paper supporting body whose both sides are laminated with polyethylene, and the thickness of lamination on a side including the photosensitive silver halide is set to >=37μm in this heat developable diffusion and transfer type color photosensitive material.
