<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a heat insulating material in a prescribed form laid along a base material to the base material with a simple structure and work by turning a metal wire rod to be mounted on the base material for receiving a sheet- like heat insulating material in a prescribed form from one surface side thereof round to the back part of the heat insulating material received by the base material. SOLUTION: In the holding a sheet-like heat insulating material 4 for insulation of a tubular heat source such as the exhaust pipe of a gas turbine l to the environment, the heat insulating material 4 to be held in semi-cylindrical form is mounted on one surface side of a base material 5 by use of a metal wire rod 6, and the metal wire rod 6 is turned round the back part of the heat insulating material 4 received by the base material 5. According to this, the heat insulating material 4 can be held in a prescribed form laid along the base material 5 to the base material 5. Namely, the heat insulating material 4 is nipped by the elasticity or bending rigidity of the metal wire rod 6 so that it can be held along the base material 5. At least the end part 6a of the metal wire rod 6 is mounted on the base material 5 by spot welding.</p> |
