The arrangement has a transmitter which transmits electromagnetic or audible or optical (outside the human detection range) warning signals that advise other drivers of a warning situation or hazard and/or a receiver that receives the warning signals and interprets the meaning for the driver. A warning triangle can contain a transmitter and/or receiver. Extensions to car radios, mobile telephones and radio equipment can have the above functions.
