[Also in Divisions B2 and C7] A fuel cell electrode comprises a core of titanium which has been degreased and pickled and coated with platinum by electrodeposition (Example 12) or with platinum or platinumnickel alloy by a chemical compound decomposition process (Example 13) (see Division C7) and the platinum coating has been oxidized, e.g. to a depth of 5 to 25% of its thickness, by heating in an oxidizing atmosphere or by electrolysis. |
