An assembly inserts a series of objects one by one into pre- formed cavities. The objects e.g. a solid chocolate filling, are held within a rotating drum (1) with a blow-ejector (2, 13) and a guide (3). The drum (1) has a series of recesses (4) on the inner face. During rotation, the contents of each recess (4) is exposed in turn to the blower-ejector which releases it through the guide.
