In the prodn. and reutilisation of various mass-produced plastics prod. raw materials of specific chemical compsn. are used for making given prods. and the prods. are marked to show their chemical compsn. during or after mfr. After they have been used once or more, the prods. are identified and sorted according to their chemical compsn. and reprocessed immediately or after storage. Pref. coloured additives may be used with manual or automatic identification and sorting, recesses, holes and/or projections esp. with identification using mechanical scanners, or optical readers, and/or (multi)coloured marks or strips esp. bar codes, at predetermined point(s) on the surface of the prod. pref. with automatic identification with an optical reader. The sorted prods. are passed to an injection moulding machine with pulveriser. USE/ADVANTAGE - The system is simple and allows recycling of valuable materials at min. technical cost.
