An electrical device (1) includes a casing (2) containing an electrical circuit (3), to which electrical connection lines (4) are joined. The casing has a coupling collar (5). A cavity region of the collar has a terminal insert (6) with terminals (8) by means of which the connection lines can be electrically joined to the incoming external conduction cores. The terminals are preferably formed as terminal pins. The coupling collar is preferably formed as a threaded coupler and serves as a cable connection.
