The cylindrical (1) is mounted on wheeled (2) chassis. The contents of the tank are pumped (3) through a pipe (4) which divides into two side branches (6). The outer portions of outer side branches (8) are hinged (7) so that they may be swung up vertically out of the way for travel on the roads. Hydraulic actuating cylinders (9) raise and lower these outer portions. Their ends (8a) are fitted with flattened spray nozzles (12).
