A goods vehicle has a driver's cab supported on the vehicle chassis by essentially mushroom-shaped rubber shock absorbers (1). The stem has a series of ratchet-like discs which locate and lock within a pre-drilled hole (6) in the chassis (5). The top end of the stem (3) has a metal collar (8) translating into a disc (4) molded within the base of the dome (2).
