PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image with high resolution without using a pigment coated layer while having the same hues and feelings as plain paper, and improve water resistance by incorporating a specific amount of cationic aluminosilicate time particles in paper comprising mainly cellulose pulp. SOLUTION: When recording material used for an ink jet recording method is to be prepared cationic aluminosilicate fine particles of 1-30 wt.% are contained in paper comprising mainly cellulose pulp, thereby enhancing the reproducibility of full color images and its water resistance is improved. Alminosilicate time partially used here are amorphous fine particles synthesized by the mixed hydrolysis of aluminum alcoxide and silicic acid alcoxide, and by bonding of Al-O-Si, silicon and aluminum are composited in the fine particles. In this case, an average grain diameter of aluminosilicate fine particles is preferably set in the range of 3 nm-1 μm. |
