Method for producing forms and foamed metal forms

One or more foamable compressed components are placed into a foaming and forming mold together with non foamable components which are secured in their appropriate positions and orientations in the mold. The foamable components are foamed at their respective foaming temperatures so that the foam is brought into contact with the non foamable components and the mold surfaces. After cooling the compound article thus produced is removed from the mold.
