PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily insert and detach a card-like information recording medium to/from an information recording and reproducing device. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a tray 13 provided with a card passage 24 for passing through an optical card, a carrying mechanism for inserting and detaching the optical card to/from the tray 13 and an optical head for irradiating the optical card with light beams. On both side edges of the tray 13, two each of pressurizing means 25 for pressing both long sides of the optical card to a Z direction reference surface 23a are provided. The pressurizing means 25 is constituted of a roller 28 to be abutted on the optical card and a leaf spring 30 for energizing the roller 28 to the side of the Z direction reference surface 23a. The radius R of the roller 28 is made larger than the width (t) of the card passage 24 and the amount of projecting the roller 28 to the card passage 24 is made less than the radius R. |
