<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cogging torque of an electric rotating machine without any skew of its molded magnets. SOLUTION: A permanent-magnet type electric rotating machine has a stator 1 with a stator core 2 and a rotor 6 with a rotor core 7 which faces the stator core 2 with a gap 5 between and has a plurality of permanent magnets 8 integrated thereinto. In the machine, an angle (mechanical angle)θwhich the circumferential width of the outer peripheral surface of each permanent magnet in the stator 1 forms with the shaft center of the rotor 6 is set toθ≈n×τs+16/P, whereinτs, P, and n represent respectively the slot pitch (mechanical angle) of the stator 1, the number of the poles of the machine, and a natural number.</p> |
