MANUFACTURE OF BARRIER RIB

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a barrier rib highly accurate in shape and also at low cost. SOLUTION: Groove 11 formed in a metallic die 21 are filled with barrier rib material 2. Next, a substrate 1 is mounted on the die 21 in a state that it comes into contact with the filled barrier rib material 2. An ultraviolet hardening device 26 is mounted on the substrate 1 and the material 2 is irradiated with ultraviolet rays 19 through the substrate 1 while the substrate 1 is pressed uniformly by air pressure 30. Then the material 2 is hardened from the substrate 1 side and the barrier rib 7 is formed on the substrate 1. And, the substrate 1 is pulled up.
