PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server device that applies exchange processing to multimedia data. SOLUTION: Buffer memories 1i (i=1-3) store data and attribute values received from a bus 8i and inform a transfer section 2i of it. The transfer section 2i receives the notice and outputs a data transfer request to an arbitration section 51. A management section 4i monitors a state of the buffer memories 1i to discriminate whether or not data copy is available. The arbitration section 6i gives an instruction of data transfer processing not in excess of a band to the transfer section 2i based on a transfer request and discrimination. The transfer section 2i copies data stored in the buffer memories 1i via a VC (virtual connection used for one attribute) by an instruction of the arbitration section 51 to other transmission section 2j. A schedule memory 71 stores an attribute list where data transfer processing to be conducted by the transfer section 2i is denoted by the arrangement of time series attribute. A schedule section 61 gives an instruction taking precedence over the arbitration section 51 to the transfer section 5i according to the attribute list.
