PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert a mute time between tracks in a relatively simple operation without reducing a total record time of an optical disk by setting an area where a mute time information indicating the mute time of tracks is recorded to a management information record area. SOLUTION: A track name information is recorded by an ASCII code to a track name area n1 of, e.g. a UTOC sector number 1 in a plurality of UTOC sectors. After a blank character code n2 indicating a terminal end of the track name information, mute time informations n3, n4 indicating a mute time to be added to a trailing end of the track, and a blank character code n5 indicating the termination of the mute time informations n3, n4 are recorded. At the time of reproduction, a mute time between tracks is controlled on the basis of the mute time informations n3, n4, whereby sound information of each track can be reproduced simply while the mute time according to the mute time informations n3, n4 is inserted to between the tracks. |
