PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system by which caller number information is informed of a telephone set that is contained in a subscriber circuit package without a display function. SOLUTION: A private branch of exchange PBX adopting this system has a subscriber circuit package 102 that contains at least one analog telephone set 101b. The package 102 has a CODEC 121 that converts a received MODEM signal including caller number information into an analog signal, a MODEM signal detection circuit 123 that detects the caller number information from the analog converted MODEM signal, a voice data storage circuit 125 that stores voice data used to convert numbers of a telephone number into a voice signal and voice data corresponding to a prescribed message in advance, and a voice data transmission circuit 126 that converts the caller number information into voice data based on the stored voice data and sends the converted voice data to the CODEC 121 as a digital MODEM signal.
