PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gauge examination system which saves power consumption without time management. SOLUTION: A radio slave station 2 is attached to an electronic water meter 1, and the radio slave station 2 is started by a flow rate pulse (p) of the meter 1, and meter information (d) including a meter ID and flow rate information are transmitted to a master station 3. When information has been normally received, the master station transmits a reception completion signal to the slave station 2 and records received meter information (d) in a memory circuit. At this time, the slave station 2 repeatedly transmits information (d) till reception of the reception completion signal and turns off the power source of a radio transmitter-receiver 6 to stop transmission at the time of reception of the reception completion signal including the meter ID, thereby the gauge examination system can save the power consumption. |
