PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and manufacturing device for battery, in which circularity of a spiral electrode group is best. SOLUTION: One end of an electrode group 1 is clamped and when winding the electrode group by a winding shaft 10, the winding shaft 10 driven and coupled by a motor for winding 12 is moved toward the clamping position of the electrode group 1, as well as the motor for winding 12. The torque of the winding shaft 10 is changed by a powder clutch 11 and a tensile force in a direction opposite to the moving direction of the winding shaft 10 is applied to the electrode group 1, thereby enabling the winding shaft 10 to be moved toward the clamping position of the electrode group 1 stably, and the electrode group 1 to be wounded in a state where a constant tensile force is applied to the electrode group 1. Accordingly, it is capable of manufacturing a battery in which the circularity of the spiral electrode group is best, without causing sagging or damaging the electrodes due to excessive tensile force. |
