PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow recharging by mainly forming an electrolyte with a lithium ion conducting inorganic solid electrolyte, and containing a first transition metal chalcogenide or a lithium transition metal chalcogenide and a second transition metal chalcogenide or a lithium transition metal chalcogenise meaner than them in a negative electrode. SOLUTION: First and second transition metal chalcogenides include Fe, Co, Ni and V, Ti, Cr, Mo, Nb, Mn. When a negative electrode contains Li2 FeS2 and LiTiS2 having a meaner reaction potential as the first and second transition metal chalcogenides, for example, the reaction of the equation I occurs prior to the metal lithium deposition reaction of the equation II, when the size of the charging current exceeds the reaction speed. The reaction speed of the equation III is considerably large, the reaction of the equation II rarely occurs by charging/discharging actions as a whole, and charge/discharge characteristic may improved. A chalcogen element is set as sulfur, and a sulfide is preferably used as the main component of the inorganic solid electrolyte. |
