PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental video microscope capable of obtaining video having the same direction as the real image, has a short optical path and small variations in field angle, and can obtain sharp video having good color rendering property. SOLUTION: This microscope has a handy type grip part 1, an objective part 2, and a support pipe 3 which connects them, a control substrate 4 which controls the output video signal of a CCD 10, and a memory circuit board 5 which stores video data, etc., are built into the grip part 1, and a focus adjusting lever 6 and a switch 7 which turns on and off a memory circuit are provided outside the grip part 1. The focus adjusting lever 6 has a focus function, which moves the CCD 10 vertically by about±0.5 mm along the optical axis through a connecting lever 8 associatively with a fine adjusting mechanism 9 in the objective part 2 for adjusting a field range (operating distance) toϕ30 toϕ60.
