<p>A laminated multilayer film substrate for use in the production of bank notes having an oriented polypropylene layer and at least one HDPE layer on each side of the oriented polypropylene layer which are pre-weakened to eliminate delamination. The resultant films exhibit good embossability, dead-fold characteristics and other properties, and are difficult to counterfeit, making them highly suited for the production of bank notes and other security documents.</p> |
