PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time till starting a regular calculating job by installing only basic parts in whole nodes after classifying whole objects to be installed into the basic parts and extending parts. SOLUTION: An OS kernel 101 to be classified to the basic part manages the resources of CPUs and a memory, etc., arranged in an individual node computer device, node control 111 is provided with a target node selection and an inter-node communication function, etc., and both of them are necessary for starting the operation of a system in a parallel computer. In the meantime, an OS extending part 102, a command 103 and a library 104 are not necessary at the time of starting the operation of the node and at the time of node control and it is adequate to prepare them at the point of time when they are required in a test, etc., after starting the system at latest. In the same way, it is adequate to prepare a monitor 112 for executing a parallel control program to be classified into the extending part, a communication library 113 and a parallel debugger 114 at the point of time when they are required in the text, etc., of a parallel calculation program. |
