PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide 2-wavelength optical multiplexer-demultiplexer constitution for clamping a filter. SOLUTION: This 2-wavelength optical multiplexer-demultiplexer is provided with a cross section rectangular groove 5 formed at one end part of an optical waveguide substrate 1, an inclined cross section rectangular groove 5 formed at the other end part of the optical waveguide substrate 1 and an optical waveguide 2 formed from one cross section rectangular groove 5 to the other inclined cross section rectangular groove 5. The end face of the optical waveguide 2 is exposed to the cross section rectangular groove 5 at one end part of the optical waveguide substrate 1 facing a cross section chevron-shaped groove 3 and exposed to the inclined cross section rectangular groove 5 at the other end part facing the cross section chevron-shaped groove 3. It is provided with an optical dielectric multi-layer film filter 4 positioned and fixed to the inclined cross section rectangular groove 5 by bringing one surface into contact with the exposed end face of the waveguide 2 and an optical fiber 6 fitted and fixed to the inclined cross section rectangular groove 5 by bring the end face into contact with the other surface of the optical dielectric multi- layer film filter 4.
